INGREDIENTS
- 4 tablespoonsCanola Oil
- 1 tablespoonButter
- 14 ½ ouncesCanned Hunts Tomato (unsalted)
- 2Red Bell Peppers
- 6 ouncesCanned Tomato Paste
- 3Large Whole Red Onion
- 1 cupRed Onion (chopped)
- ¼ cupBlended Crayfish
- 4Habanero Peppers (based on how spicy you want)
- 4 ½ cupsLong Grain Parboiled Rice
- 2 cupsChicken Stock
- 1 tablespoonKnorr Cubes (or maggi)
- 1 tablespoonSalt
- ½ teaspoonCayenne Pepper And Black Pepper
- ½ teaspoonWhite Pepper
- 3Single Bay Leaves
- ½ tablespoonCurry Powder
- ½ teaspoonOnion Powder (garlic)
- ½ teaspoonThyme
- ¼ teaspoonGinger
Butter
1 cup margarine or 1 1/3 cup whipped butter (for sauteing) or 1 cup hydrogenated fat plus 1/2 teaspoon salt
Red Bell Peppers
3 tablespoon fresh red bell pepper, chopped or 2 tablespoon pimiento, choppedCurry Powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom, 1/2 teaspoon cayenne, 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander seed, 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
Onion Powder
1 tablespoon instant minced onion
Thyme
basil, marjoram, oregano, or savory
Ginger
allspice, cinnamon, mace, or nutmeg or 1/8 teaspoon powdered ginger
